Priscilla Schuyler, LE
Founder & Eesthetic Specialist

Founder & Clinical Director, Modern Priscilla Aesthetic & Laser Center, LLC
Priscilla Schuyler is a premier aesthetic specialist with over two decades of patient care proficiency, including 13 years of rigorous clinical experience training under board-certified dermatologists. Since founding Modern Priscilla Aesthetic & Laser Center in 2006, she has established herself as a high-volume expert in advanced skin rejuvenation and the complex science of cutaneous biology.
With a career spanning thousands of successful treatments, Priscilla is a true specialist in Photofacials (IPL) and advanced skin revision. Her vast clinical repetition has granted her an intuitive mastery of light-based therapies, allowing her to customize settings with a level of precision that only comes from years of hands-on experience. She is an early adopter of aesthetic innovation, constantly researching new formulations to ensure her practice remains at the industry's leading edge.
Priscilla’s philosophy is built on the "bespoke protocol." Rejecting one-size-fits-all treatments, she engineers customized journeys that pair medical precision with a natural aesthetic. Her mission is to help patients rediscover their confidence through restorative care, leaving them feeling radiant, youthful, and fundamentally refreshed.
Dr. Gary Mendese, FAAD, FACMS
Medical Director
Dr. Gary Mendese, FAAD, FACMS is a Boston-hospital trained dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. He is double board certified in Dermatology as well as Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, and primarily practices Mohs surgery to remove and reconstruct high risk skin cancers. Dr. Mendese practices in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Dr. Mendese completed his dermatology training at the combined Boston University/Tufts University Dermatology Residency Program, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a rigorous American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) approved fellowship in Mohs Surgery in 2012 under the leadership of Donald J. Grande, MD, who was a recognized leader in the field. He completed a post-sophomore fellowship in pathology during medical school from 2004-2005 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society in his final year of medical school. Currently, along with his daily practice duties, he is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Tufts University School of Medicine. He also serves as Vice President for the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology and on the Advisory Board for Impact Melanoma (formerly Melanoma Foundation of New England).
Dr. Mendese enjoys anything outdoors and spending time with his wife and five kids.
Emily Ellwood, BS, LE
Office Manager & Esthetician
Emily Ellwood brings a sophisticated, science-driven perspective to Modern Priscilla Aesthetics. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Environmental Science from Simmons University and is a Licensed Esthetician clinically trained at the prestigious Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics. With over a decade of dedicated experience, Emily is an integral leader within the clinical team.
Having spent over ten years refining her expertise under the direct mentorship of Priscilla Schuyler, Emily has developed a master-level proficiency in skin histology and results-driven skincare. She is highly regarded for her ability to architect complex, multi-phase treatment plans that address stubborn dermatological concerns with surgical precision.
Emily’s unique background allows her to merge the macro-lens of public health with a refined, holistic approach to individual skin revision. By balancing clinical rigor with a supportive, patient-centered environment, she ensures that every treatment is not only technically superior but also revitalizing. Her mission is to leverage her deep understanding of skin biology to help patients achieve a balanced, youthful, and resilient complexion.
Lindsey Ramsey, BSN, RN
Cosmetic Nurse Injector
Lindsey Ramsey, BSN, RN is a registered nurse with almost a decade of patient care proficiency. Lindsey holds her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine. She is a highly trained master specialist; clinically certified with vast experience in medical aesthetic procedures including Botox Cosmetic, Dysport and a variety of dermal fillers. She currently works and trains under the medical supervision of Dermatologic Surgeon, Gary Mendese MD, FAAD, FACMS who is the Vice President of Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology.
She is eager to offer her unique combination of medical comprehension and technical abilities with a natural aesthetic approach. Her vision and purpose is assisting patients to look and feel more poised, youthful and attractive.
Shannyn Olivier
Esthetician
Shannyn Olivier began working as a licensed aesthetician at Modern Priscilla in September of 2021. She is a graduate from the Institute of Skin Science in Stratham, NH and received her aesthetic license in ME and NH. When Shannyn is not at our clinic, she works in various locations as a licensed mental health counselor and has been in the mental health field for 10 years. Shannyn’s career choices speak to her passion of helping others feel their best from the inside out. Shannyn chose aesthetics to help her clients look & feel more confident. In her spare time, she loves to travel and try new foods. Shannyn loves spending time with her family and friends.
