Botox & Dysport
Cosmetic Nurse - Lindsey Ramsey, BSN, RN
What Are Botox and Dysport?
Botox and Dysport are types of cosmetic injections that help reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. They contain a purified protein that temporarily relaxes the muscles responsible for lines and creases, giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance. These treatments are non-surgical, quick, and require minimal downtime.

What Does the Treatment Involve?
During your session, you will be asked to raise your eyebrows, frown, and squint so the injector can identify the lines to target. Using ultra-fine needles, a minimal amount of muscle relaxant is injected into specific muscles. The injection may sting briefly, but you can resume normal activities immediately afterward.
Results typically begin to appear within 2–3 days, with full effects visible up to 14 days after treatment.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?
For optimal results, one treatment every three to four months is recommended.

How Long Will the Results Last?
The effects of muscle relaxants are temporary. Results generally last 3–4 months, though this may vary depending on the individual. After this period, muscle activity returns, and retreatment is needed to maintain results.

What Does the Treatment Cost?
Pricing depends on the area being treated, muscle size, and strength. Because every patient’s needs differ, an exact quote can only be provided after a personal assessment.
To receive a customized quote, we recommend booking a consultation.

Who Can Have Cosmetic Injections?
Anyone over 18 seeking a smoother, fresher, and more youthful appearance may be suitable.
Note: Cosmetic injections are not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing.
